I found myself amongst dinosaurs

One day I woke up in the morning I got ready to go to the airport with my mum and dad we were going to the united states of america when we got to the airport I was playing around then I went to this plane I went in and I went to china island and my mum and dad was still at the airport so then I waited. We crashed down to the ground I survive but all the people in the plane died.

The next day I found out what island I was on dinosaurs island so I made me a house and then made me some weapon to kill the dinouses. So then I was traveled the island to find me some food then I found lots of plane crash and I went to go check on them There was lots of food in a box so I carried it to the house and then I opened it there was chocolate in the box so I eat one at five days.

So then the next day I went walking I saw a plane it was working no one was inside so I went to the plane and there was no keys so i had a problem of finding the key so I find the keys but I was not ready to go because I want to see the T-rax I went to my house and got chocolate and my weapons I wanted to kill the T-rex.

So then I found it and I throw my spear and I got it in the eye and then I kept on throwing my spear at the T-rax so then it died and I went to the plane I got in and went back home and then my mum and dad was at the airport I tried to land I got out and went to my mum and dad and told them about where I was and what I did my mum and dad missed me and I told that I killed a T-rex.

One day sam woke up in the morning. his friends were knocking on the door. They went to the beach and his friend Mia said “Why are people taking photos of the rubbish”. They are not picking up the rubbish. Mia said “ Let's clean this place up “ Emma said “ No way I am not cleaning this places up”. Mia said “Do it now!“ Emma said “Ok”. Then they saw a man his name was Artist He said “Where's it gone my installation. Then Emma said “Oh no I think I put it in the bin” then they ran to the bin and gave it back to him. And then he was happy then sam went home ask his dad “lets have fish and chips for dinner tonight like we always eat on Friday”.

Shipwrecked

1. What was the bubbling sound? (page 18) The boat was sunking

2.What do you think caused the hole? (use your imagination) there was a whole

3. What is the horizon? A horizon is far away.

4.Why did the dad float on his back when he was tired? Because he was exhausted.

5.What is phytoplankton? Its Tiny animals and plants in the water.

6.What does the sound of waves breaking mean? It's a coral reef. Why does that sound make the dad smile? So he can stand on coral reef.

7. What is a lagoon? A lagoon means there is a island on the other side

8. How was dad feeling when he climbed on shore? He was happy and he had breakfast. How do we know this? We know this because we read it.

9. What was scuttling all over his body when he woke? Grabs

Learning science 4 Nov 2016

Lab Safety Rules

1. Safety glasses - protect our eyes.

2. Wear a lab coat - protect your body/clothes.

3. Lab behaviour - appropriate behaviour to keep safe.

4. Use proper equipment (ask if you have never used before.

5. Always clean up your mess.

Equipment:

- Rubbing alcohol

- Bottle (plastic) - with lid

- Matches

Method:

1.Pour a small amount of rubbing

alcohol into the bottle.

2.Light a match.

3.Hold your bottle under the match while squeezing

4.Blow out your match so it produces smoke, and release the bottle so the smoke is sucked into the bottle.

5.Immediately close the bottle tight with the lid.

6.squeeze bottle as hard as possible and release - The bottle should fill with a cloud.

Questions:

1.What does the rubbing alcohol do?Rubbing alcohol refers to either isopropyl alcohol (propan-2-ol) or ethanol based liquids, or the comparable British Pharmacopoeia defined surgical spirit, with isopropyl alcohol products being the most widely available. They are liquids used primarily as a topical antiseptic.

2.What happens when the air in the bottle mixes with smoke?What happens when you release them into water depends on what's being emitted. That water vapor, of course, just condenses, but we don't really care much about pumping water into the air anyway.

3.What does squeezing the bottle do to the air? Squeezing the air out keeps the CO2 in solution.

When our sun burst into creation, it was a mass of swirling gases that included a core or center that is compressing atoms together in a process called 'nuclear fusion'. This intense pressure creates heat at temperatures that are around 15 million degrees C.
